Since 1998, SNEHA has been working to create healthier, safer and more empowered futures for Mumbai’s vulnerable urban communities.
With 4,900+ volunteers from the communities we serve, SNEHA builds solutions rooted in local needs that make change relevant, inclusive and sustainable
SNEHA has been recognised by GuideStar India since 2015, and receiving the Platinum Certification in since 2017. SNEHA also holds Give Assured Gold Certification and has an NGO Source Equivalency Determination on file.
How do Corporate partnerships with SNEHA work?

Can I apply for a grant from SNEHA as an NGO working on domestic violence?
SNEHA is not a grant-making organisation and does not provide funding to other NGOs. However, if you would like to learn more about SNEHA’s models and approaches to working, please feel free to contact us. While we do not provide grants, we offer technical expertise and capacity building to other NGOs through our SNEHA Knowledge Centre to help them implement or scale evidence-based models for preventing violence. How can I donate to SNEHA?
Donations to SNEHA can be made both online and offline. You can donate online by credit card, debit card or Netbanking using the secure donation page. To donate offline, please write to donate@snehamumbai.org.

Yes. Every contribution makes a difference and helps us support women and children more effectively.
How can I support SNEHA on Fund raising
You can run individual campaigns, participate vis TMM, We also organize exposure visits for HNI/UHNI and International visitors to align them to our mission. For more details contact our Fund Raising team (fundraising@snehamumbai.org)
What happens after I donate?
Once your donation is completed, it is transferred to SNEHA’s bank account and utilised towards programme and/or administrative costs. You will receive an acknowledgement shortly after payment and the Form 10BE is sent after the end of the financial year.
Can I cancel or request a refund?
No. Once a donation has been confirmed, refunds or cancellations are not possible for one time donations. For recurring donations, you may write to donate@snehamumbai.org for any changes on your contribution.
Is it safe to donate online?
Yes. We use a secure payment gateway. We recommend donating from a personal device and avoiding public networks.
Will I receive tax exemption on my donation?
Yes. All donations to SNEHA are eligible for deduction @ 50% as per Section 354 under Section 133(1)(b)(ii) of the Income Tax Act, 2025. A Donation Certificate Form 10BE (80G) will be issued upon receipt of the required donor details.
Why do I need to provide PAN and address details?
As per government regulations, donor details are required for compliance and issuance of Form 10BE.
What happens to my personal data?
Your data is securely stored and used only for compliance and regulatory purposes. We do not share donor information with third parties.
Can I make an anonymous donation?
No. Anonymous donations are not accepted.

Which agencies are authorised to collect donations on behalf of SNEHA?
International donations are currently processed through the TrustBridge platform. Donations from Indian citizens are accepted through the SNEHA website and partner organisations listed below:

Are transaction fees deducted from my donation?
Yes. Transaction fees are:,

Will I receive a fund utilisation report?
Individual donors do not receive utilisation reports. However, our Annual Reports contain audited financial statements and programme details. Institutional donors may request reports.
Can I donate used items or goods?
SNEHA does not distribute goods in the communities we serve and therefore does not accept in-kind donations.
Can I sell or promote products to SNEHA’s programme participants?
We do not facilitate commercial activities involving our programme participants.
